Don Pilar Añejo Tequila is a small-batch, artisanal tequila crafted in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico (Los Altos de Jalisco) by Agaves & Tequilas Don Pilar Inc., a completely family-owned and operated brand. The añejo expression is aged over twenty months in American White Oak casks, developing a rich, smooth character with complex oak-driven flavors. Distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave, it represents the highland terroir where agave plants grow at higher elevations, producing a sweeter, more floral spirit than their lowland counterparts.

Don Pilar's añejo bottling is the flagship aged expression in the lineup, positioned between the six-month Reposado and the double-oaked forty-month Extra-Añejo. The brand was founded by Don José Pilar Contreras Marquez and is run by his son Juan Carlos Contreras, who oversees all aspects of production at their distillery in San José de Gracia, Jalisco.
