Hugel Classic Riesling is the signature wine of Famille Hugel, one of Alsace's most storied wine estates based in Riquewihr, France. Made from 100% hand-harvested Riesling grapes sourced from predominantly clay and limestone vineyards in and around Riquewihr, this dry white wine carries the AOC Alsace appellation and represents a benchmark expression of Alsatian Riesling.

The wine pours with a sparkling, youthful robe and bright green highlights. On the nose it opens with floral aromas of lily of the valley and elderflower alongside lively citrus zest, and develops hints of flint and minerality with age. The palate is clean and energetic, delivering flavors of lemon, lime, green apple, and yuzu zest with crisp acidity and a long, mineral finish. At 12.5% alcohol, this is a definitively dry Riesling — fruit-forward, juicy, and approachable for a wide range of palates.

The winemaking process emphasizes minimal intervention: grapes are pressed in small tubs by gravity with no pumping, fermented in temperature-controlled vats at 18–24°C, racked just once, and naturally clarified over winter before light filtration and bottling. The bottles are sealed with DIAM cork to eliminate any risk of cork taint.
