Beecher's Flagship Reserve is a celebrated artisan semi-hard cow's milk cheddar, awarded #1 U.S. Artisan Cheese at the 2024 American Cheese Society Annual Competition. It is a special version of Beecher's signature Flagship cheese, made only on days when milk composition is just right, using the last curds from each make to achieve slightly lower moisture and higher salt content. The result is a richer taste and texture with a clean, creamy finish.

Flagship Reserve is traditionally cloth-bound and open-air aged for a minimum of 13 months, a process that yields a 14–16% moisture loss. This concentration of flavor produces a firm yet slightly crumbly texture, a mottled natural rind with aromas of fresh butter and earth, and a long, satisfying finish. The cheese has earned numerous top placements at the American Cheese Society, World Cheese Awards, and World Championship Cheese Contest.
