Pepcid AC Maximum Strength provides heartburn relief and prevention with 20mg of famotidine, an H2 blocker that works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. This package contains 100 tablets total in two bottles of 50 tablets each.

Just one tablet controls acid all day or all night, with relief starting within 15 to 30 minutes. The maximum strength formula can be taken as little as 10 minutes before eating to prevent heartburn associated with acid indigestion and sour stomach brought on by eating or drinking certain foods and beverages.
