Martin Ray Cabernet Sauvignon Diamond Mountain is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Diamond Mountain District appellation in Napa Valley, California. This is the winery's flagship and most complex bottling, sourced from a high-elevation vineyard situated above the fog line, where nutrient-rich soils, superior sun exposure, and cool evening temperatures produce fruit of remarkable depth and concentration.

The wine is fermented in small 4–6 ton open-top fermenters with thrice-daily pump-overs for optimal cap management, then rested on its skins for up to one month following fermentation. It is then aged for 18 months in 60% new French oak, lending richness and structure while preserving the mountain terroir's character.

The result is a plush, structured wine showing dark cherries, black raspberry, and tobacco on a core of ripe plum, earth, and bay laurel. A mineral-driven backbone with touches of nutmeg, white pepper, and graphite is complemented by fleshy acidity and firm, powerful tannins. James Suckling awarded it 97 points, calling it "a truly impressive mountain wine that punches way above its price range." The wine carries 14.9% ABV and is built for cellaring.
