This USDA Choice bone-in standing rib roast from the Costco service deli is pre-seasoned and oven-ready, perfect for holiday dinners and special occasions. The roast is prepared with Kirkland Signature olive oil, whole roasted garlic cloves, and a savory steak rub featuring spices and dehydrated garlic. The roast comes in its own aluminum cooking container with the bones tied to the meat for optimal cooking and easy carving.
To prepare, preheat your oven to 500°F, remove the plastic wrap and discard the foam tray, then place the aluminum container on the center rack. Cook for 25 minutes at 500°F, then reduce temperature to 200°F and continue cooking for 20-30 minutes per pound until reaching your desired internal temperature: 125-135°F for rare, 135-145°F for medium rare, 145-155°F for medium, or 155-165°F for medium well. Let rest for 15 minutes before cutting the twine, separating the meat from the bone, and carving. Plan for approximately 1 pound per person or 1 rib bone per 2 adults.
Ingredients: Rib of beef, garlic, seasoning (spices, dehydrated garlic, maltodextrin, salt, fractionated palm oil, sunflower oil, spice extractives), olive oil.
