Chalone Vineyard Estate Grown Chardonnay is a Burgundian-style white wine produced from grapes grown on one of California's most historic wine estates. Chalone Vineyard holds the distinction of being the oldest producing vineyard in Monterey County, with roots dating back to 1919. The vineyard gained international recognition when it secured 3rd place for Chardonnay at the legendary 1976 Judgment of Paris tasting, placing it among the world's finest wines.

This Estate Chardonnay expresses the distinctive minerality of the Chalone AVA, where ancient limestone running through the appellation lends the wine exceptional complexity and a unique sense of place. The wine opens with notes of banana, vanilla, lemongrass, honey, and Meyer lemon, complemented by wet slate and river rock minerality characteristic of the region. Mature estate vineyards combined with the area's ancient limestone soils produce a wine of remarkable depth and Burgundian elegance.

The wine has earned numerous accolades including Gold from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and Double Gold from the Sommeliers Choice Awards. Sold as a case of 12 x 750ml bottles.
