Stag's Leap Winery's Napa Valley Viognier is an aromatic and expressive white wine sourced from select vineyards in the Carneros and Oak Knoll AVAs in the southern part of Napa Valley. These cooler sites benefit from sufficient sun exposure for full ripening while cool marine fog helps maintain the wine's natural acidity. The wine is 100% Viognier, bottled at approximately 14.3% alcohol.

On the nose, fragrant notes of orange blossom, white jasmine, honeysuckle, and elderflower are complemented by ripe mandarin, white peach, nectarine, and lime zest. The palate is vibrant and medium-bodied with fresh green apple, citron lemon, and peach, supported by secondary notes of vanilla bean, undercurrents of honey, and a long, dry finish of white pepper spice. The mouthfeel is clean and mouthwatering, with a backbone of crisp acidity.

The wine is fermented in neutral French oak barrels and aged on the lees with weekly stirring for four months, adding texture and depth without oak dominance.
