Wild-caught stone crab claws harvested from Florida and Atlantic waters, previously frozen to preserve freshness. Stone crabs are sustainably harvested using a unique method where only the claws are removed and the crab is returned to the water alive, allowing the claw to regenerate naturally within 12 to 24 months. Each large claw contains firm, sweet, delicate white meat with a naturally rich flavor.
These claws are pre-cooked before freezing, making preparation simple and convenient. The meat has a tender texture and mild sweetness that pairs well with butter sauces, mustard dipping sauces, or can be served chilled. Stone crab claws are prized for their premium quality and are traditionally served as an elegant appetizer or main course. To prepare, simply steam or boil for 5-8 minutes to heat through, then crack the shells and serve. The claws should not be overcooked as this can cause the meat to stick to the shell.
