Brown King Crab broiler claws are the smaller, knuckle-style claws harvested from wild-caught brown king crab sourced from the cold waters of the Bering Sea and North Pacific. These claws arrive fully cooked and ready to heat or serve chilled, making them one of the most convenient premium seafood options available. Brown King Crab is prized for its sweet, tender, and delicately flavored meat.
Broiler claws — also known as cocktail claws — are named for their ideal preparation method. The cap-off design exposes the claw meat for easy eating directly from the shell. They are excellent broiled, grilled, steamed, or served chilled alongside drawn butter and lemon. Their compact, elegant size makes them a natural choice for appetizers, cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, or as part of a surf-and-turf meal.
Since the crab is pre-cooked at the dock, minimal preparation is required. Thaw under refrigeration or in cool running water, then heat briefly until warmed through. Overcooking should be avoided as it can toughen the meat and reduce its flavor. Crabmeat is a high-protein seafood rich in vitamins B12 and C, omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and selenium. Sold fresh by the pound at the Costco seafood counter.
