Rihaku Wandering Poet is a premium Junmai Ginjo sake from Rihaku Brewery, founded in 1882 in Shimane Prefecture, Japan. Named after the legendary 8th-century Chinese poet Li Po, who was said to drink a bottle of sake and write one hundred poems, this sake embodies a spirit of creativity and refinement.

Crafted from Yamada Nishiki rice — widely regarded as the pinnacle of sake rice — and milled to 55% (seimaibuai), Wandering Poet delivers a flavor profile with broad appeal and a sturdy, memorable character. The sake presents notes of banana and ripe honeydew with a clean, crisp acidity that highlights its light-to-medium body. The lingering finish transitions from juicy fruitiness to green, herbal notes, making it a versatile companion at the table.

With a nihonshu-do of +3, an acidity of 1.6, and an alcohol content of 15.2%, this sake strikes an elegant balance between dry and fruity.
