Michele Chiarlo Le Orme is a Barbera d'Asti DOCG wine from the Piedmont region of Italy, sourced from four celebrated Chiarlo vineyards: La Court, La Serra, Montemareto, and Costa delle Monache. "Le Orme" (meaning "The Footprints") represents the winery's flagship everyday Barbera, offering exceptional quality at an accessible price point.

The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks with 10 days of skin maceration using a soft cap-wetting system at controlled temperatures between 27°C and 32°C. Malolactic fermentation is also conducted in steel, preserving the grape's vibrant natural acidity. The wine undergoes a minimum of one year of refinement before release and holds the Equalitas sustainability certification.

Ruby red with violet hues, Le Orme opens with elegant, intense aromas of fresh mature red fruit — cherry, currant, and raspberry. On the palate it is harmonious and full, with good structure, soft tannins, and a beautiful savoury finish. It has earned scores of 94/100 from Wine Enthusiast, 92/100 from Wine Spectator, and 91/100 from James Suckling.

Serve at 18°C. Pairs well with tomato-based pasta, pizza, white meats, and grilled or roasted red meats.
