Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay is a premium California white wine from the renowned Carneros appellation, where the cool climate and specific soils of the San Pablo Bay region provide ideal conditions for producing this quintessential Chardonnay. First produced from Carneros grapes in 1990, this wine showcases the Rombauer hallmarks of intense fruit flavors balanced by fresh acidity.

The 2024 vintage features aromas of yellow peach and ripe melon on the nose, interspersed with bright citrus notes. These notes continue on the palate, featuring creamy vanilla and buttery nuances on the long finish. Rombauer's signature bright acidity is evident in each sip, balancing the softness of the midpalate. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes harvested between August 28 and October 8, 2024, at an average brix of 24.0, the wine is aged for 9 months in American and French oak barrels (37% new) and has an alcohol content of 14.6%.

This wine pairs beautifully with rich, creamy dishes such as mac and cheese, crab cakes, fettuccine alfredo, chicken pot pie, and marry me chicken soup. The wine is best served chilled to 50-55 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing its complex aromas to shine. While delicious upon release, it will continue to develop for up to five years from the vintage date when stored properly in a cool, dark place at 57-62 degrees Fahrenheit.
