Elk Cove Vineyards Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is the winery's flagship red, crafted from 100% estate-grown fruit sourced across all six of their vineyard sites in Oregon's Willamette Valley: The Winery Estate, Mount Richmond, Five Mountain, Clay Court, Goodrich, and Windhill. Drawing from vineyards representing all three major Willamette Valley soil types, the blend combines both Pommard and Dijon clones for a layered, complex expression of the region.

Fruit from each vineyard block is fermented separately in small, temperature-controlled open-top steel tanks and hand-punched down twice daily. The wine ages for 10 months in French oak barrels before being carefully blended to achieve a balanced, approachable style. On the nose, expect bright cherry and raspberry aromas with hints of cinnamon and delicate violet. The palate offers juicy plum and boysenberry alongside earthy notes of cola and leather, finishing with chalky tannins and touches of creme brulee.

The Willamette Valley Pinot Noir has earned recognition at major competitions, including Gold at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and Silver at the TEXSOM International Wine Awards.
