Zenato Ripassa Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore is a refined Italian red wine from the Veneto region. Crafted using the traditional ripasso technique, the Valpolicella wine is "passed over again" on the still-warm Amarone pomace after fermentation, initiating a second short fermentation that increases alcohol content and produces a wine richer in color, body, and aromas.

The blend is composed of 85% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, and 5% Oseleta grapes. It is aged 18 months in tonneaux followed by at least 6 months in the bottle. The resulting wine is smooth and velvety with intense aromas of wild berries, forest spices, cocoa, and balsamic herbs, complemented by fruity hints on the palate, very fine tannins, and a finish of chocolate and spices. It contains 14% alcohol and pairs well with savory meat dishes, cured meats, and aged cheeses.
