Fromager d'Affinois Truffle is a luxurious French double cream brie made by Guilloteau Creamery. This soft-ripened cheese blends rich, buttery brie with aromatic black truffles, creating an incredibly creamy texture with an intense truffle flavor. Actual pieces of black truffle (1%) are added to the soft creamy cheese, setting it apart from most truffle brie cheeses with a truly indulgent truffle kick. The cheese features a mild, slightly tangy brie base enhanced by the luxurious, earthy taste of truffles, all encased in a thin, edible rind.
Made from pasteurized cow's milk and cream, this double cream cheese has a texture ranging from firm to oozy as it ripens. The cheese is vegetarian friendly and contains less than 0.1 oz of lactose per 3.5 oz serving. It pairs beautifully with roasted hazelnuts, champagne Blanc de Noir, crispy potatoes with Maldon sea salt and rosemary, and makes a lavish addition to any cheeseboard for special occasions.
