Monte Antico Rosso is a Tuscan red blend from Italy, crafted from hillside vineyards in the Toscana IGT appellation. The blend is composed of 85% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Merlot, sourced from vineyards of at least 25 years of age across Pisa, Maremma, and Chianti Classico.

Monte Antico, meaning "Ancient Mountain," is the proprietary label of respected Italian wine importers Neil and Maria Empson, who have been championing Italian wines for over 30 years. The wine pours a pale ruby in the glass with aromas of dark cherry, herbs, and a touch of oak.

On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied with soft tannins and bright acidity, delivering flavors of red fruit, cherry, and raspberry with a dry, slightly rustic finish.
