Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry Rouge is a classic French sweet vermouth produced in Chambéry, France, by one of the oldest and most celebrated vermouth houses. Dolin traces its origins to 1821, when they crafted one of the first French vermouths in the Alpine town of Chambéry, and their rouge recipe has remained unchanged ever since.

This vermouth is made by macerating more than thirty Alpine plants, flowers, and spices in white wine, producing a lustrous coppery-colored spirit with a remarkably complex aromatic profile. The nose offers gentle aromas of fruit compote, prunes, and walnuts with grassy notes, layered with spicy Szechuan pepper. Additional aromatic dimensions include almond, citrus, pear, cinnamon, gingerbread, tobacco, oregano, and hyssop, all tempered by a subtle bitter base wine.

At 16% ABV, this light-bodied vermouth delivers a balanced palate with notes of dried fruit, honey, and savory herbs. It is excellent served as an apéritif over ice with a citrus twist, and it excels in classic cocktails including the Manhattan, Negroni, and Boulevardier.
