Darioush "Caravan" Cabernet Sauvignon is a Bordeaux-style red blend from Napa Valley, crafted by the acclaimed Darioush winery founded by Darioush Khaledi. The wine is composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Merlot, aged for twenty months in a combination of 70% new French and European oak barrels.

On the palate, Caravan showcases ripe red fruit, cherry, and plum with firm tannins and warm hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and cherry liqueur. It is a substantial, full-bodied wine built for aging yet equally enjoyable in its youth. The 2021 vintage has been described as rustic and earthy with layers of dark fruit, spices, dark chocolate, and licorice, finishing with a balanced, textural mouthfeel and firmly framed tannins.

Darioush is known for its Persian-inspired architecture and estate vineyards in the cooler southern Napa Valley, including sites on Mount Veeder. The Caravan bottling represents the winery's approachable, everyday offering within their portfolio, which ranges up to the collectible Darius II Cabernet Sauvignon.
