Smith & Hook Cabernet Sauvignon Central Coast is a bold, richly layered red wine crafted from grapes sourced across California's Central Coast wine region. For more than 40 years, Smith & Hook has partnered with small growers in five distinctive warmer AVAs — Arroyo Seco, Paso Robles, San Antonio Valley, Hames Valley, and San Benito County — where cooling Pacific winds allow Cabernet grapes to remain on the vine longer, developing exceptional flavor concentration and vibrant acidity.

The wine opens with aromas of blackberry, cocoa powder, and nutmeg, leading to a palate of rich blackberry and dark cherry compote. The mouthfeel is rich and luscious with a decadent finish. Aged 6 months on French and American oak, which adds structure and complexity. It pairs beautifully with short ribs, grilled lamb, and dark chocolate tart. Each bottle is 750ML with an alcohol content of approximately 14%.
