Beringer Napa Valley Merlot is a classic California red wine from one of Napa Valley's most storied wineries, established in 1876. This 750ml bottle is crafted from 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from Napa Valley vineyards and bottled at 14.3% ABV.
The wine opens with aromas of dark berries, currants, plum, and black cherry, accented by hints of cedar, nutmeg, and mocha. On the palate it is medium-bodied with round, supple tannins and a fresh, balanced finish. A sweet, toasty note of oak rounds out the blend, adding body and a smooth mouthfeel. Best served at 60–65°F; young vintages benefit from 20–30 minutes of decanting to open up aromas and soften tannins. Sold as a case of 12 bottles.
