Jermann Pinot Grigio is a flagship white wine from Friuli, Italy, produced by one of the region's most celebrated estates. Founded in 1881, Jermann has been crafting this Pinot Grigio since 1974, making it one of the longest-running expressions of the variety in Friuli. The wine is sourced from vineyards on Eocene-era soils — a mix of colluvial material and marl with sandstone — which lend it a distinctive mineral character.

The grapes are fermented as a white wine and aged on the lees in stainless steel tanks for approximately six months, followed by additional bottle aging. This process preserves the wine's natural aromatic freshness while building complexity. The wine carries a DOC Friuli designation and contains 13% alcohol.

In the glass, it shows an intense straw-yellow color. The nose is full and fruity with excellent persistence, offering notes of peach, pear, citrus, white flowers, and crushed stone. On the palate it is dry, velvety, and fragrant, with ripe orchard fruit, a mineral edge, and a long finish with hints of honey and melon. Pairs beautifully with fish soups, chargrilled seafood, porcini mushroom dishes, and squid ink pasta.
