Aureum Acinum is an Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG produced by Tinazzi at their Tenuta Valleselle estate in the Veneto region of Italy. This full-bodied red wine is crafted from a blend of 90% Corvina and Corvinone with 10% Rondinella, sourced from select hillside vineyards at 150 to 300 meters elevation in the classic Valpolicella zone.

The grapes undergo the traditional appassimento drying process until December, concentrating their sugars and flavors. After pressing and destemming, the wine undergoes maceration and fermentation for 15 to 20 days, followed by 12 to 16 months of maturation in French and American oak barrels. The result is an intense, deep red wine with elegant aromas of ripe cherries and marasca cherries, accented by spicy notes and a finish of chocolate and liquorice. On the palate, it offers great structure and elegance with a balanced interplay of tannins and softness. Alcohol content is 15% by volume.

This wine has earned numerous accolades including a Decanter Gold Medal with 95 points (2021 vintage), Luca Maroni 98 points (2022 vintage), James Suckling 90 points (2019 vintage), and a USA Wine Ratings Gold Medal with 92 points.
