Domaine Drouhin Oregon's Arthur Chardonnay is an elegant, estate-grown white wine from the Dundee Hills appellation within Oregon's Willamette Valley. Named after Véronique Boss-Drouhin's son Arthur, this Chardonnay is crafted from 100% estate vines and reflects the Burgundian winemaking philosophy that the Drouhin family has brought to Oregon since 1987.
The wine opens with bright aromas of tart green apple, orange blossom, and ripe melon, followed by flavors of lemon zest, honeysuckle, and fresh almonds on the palate, with a note of pear essence on the finish. The cool-climate growing conditions of the Dundee Hills — characterized by its Jory volcanic soils and gentle marine influence — lend the wine its characteristic balance of vibrant acidity and restrained richness. Winemaking follows traditional Burgundian methods with careful whole-cluster pressing, barrel fermentation, and aging on the lees to build texture and complexity.
This is a versatile food wine that pairs well with seafood, poultry, and cream-based dishes. Sold as a single 750ml bottle.
