Hahn SLH Pinot Noir is an estate-grown red wine from the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation of Monterey County, California. The Santa Lucia Highlands is a high-elevation coastal growing region celebrated for its intense diurnal temperature shifts, resulting in wines with exceptional minerality, bright acidity, and expressive aromatics.

This Pinot Noir opens with aromas of crushed black cherry and plum with accents of allspice and spicy vanilla. It is rich and velvety on the palate with notes of mulled cherry, warm licorice, and fruitcake, finishing with a touch of star anise. Underlying acidity extends the finish nicely. The grapes are harvested during cool mornings, destemmed into open-top stainless steel tanks, cold soaked, and fermented on the skins for approximately 10 days, then aged in French oak barrels for 14 months.

The wine pairs well with grilled ribeye steak, pork chops with brown butter, tomato basil soup, and orzo salad. The 2022 vintage received 92 points from Wine Spectator. Each case contains 12 bottles of 750 mL.
