This Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Petit Verdot. Aromas of luscious, rich dark berry and espresso caress the nose, then fill the palate with chocolate and grilled cherries, followed by a strong finish of mocha and soft tannins. The wine is deep garnet-purple in color with powerful notes of juicy plums and cassis, giving way to hints of Provence herbs, pencil shavings, and black olives. Full-bodied with tight-knit intensity, framed by very firm, grainy tannins and fantastic tension. The 2023 vintage received 96 points from Lisa Perrotti-Brown and 94 points from Joe Czerwinski.
