Cakebread Cellars Carneros Chardonnay Reserve is sourced from the Carneros appellation, the southernmost winegrowing region in Napa Valley, where cool temperatures, persistent winds, and gently rolling terrain create ideal conditions for Chardonnay. The loamy soils naturally control vine vigor, and the extended growing season allows grapes to develop slowly, producing fruit with high acidity and exceptional balance.

This 100% Chardonnay is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, adding layers of complexity and a rich, textured mouthfeel. The wine opens with floral aromas mingling with fresh citrus, orange blossom, and white peach characters. On the palate it is weighty yet balanced, with a mouth-coating texture and a clean, mineral finish.
