The Stonemason Hill Vineyard is a distinctive north-facing site characterized by large rocks leading up to a stone-walled terrace, with gravel loam soil and mature vines — many over thirty years old. The north-facing orientation results in more indirect sunlight than most Alexander Valley vineyards, producing a cooler growing environment where grapes ripen slowly and develop beautifully balanced acidity and complex nuance. Grapes are hand-picked, then aged in a combination of 70% French, 20% American, and 10% Hungarian oak barrels with a medium toast. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered and is vegan-friendly.

This wine presents a deep purple color with vibrant aromas of cherry, blueberry, and black cherry accented by a touch of French vanilla oak.
