Panchita's Killer Salsa is a fresh-style Original salsa made by the Nevada-based Killer Salsa company, founded by Fran Pritchard in Minden, Nevada in 1993. The recipe was perfected in the San Francisco Bay Area and has grown from a local favorite to a regional staple carried in over 100 stores including Costco, Walmart, Safeway, Raley's, and Smith's. The 48-ounce container is Costco's exclusive large-format size.

The salsa is made with canned tomatoes for consistent flavor, fresh jalapeños, granulated garlic, crushed red pepper, fresh and frozen cilantro, pickled jalapeños, carrots, onions, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C for freshness), and a proprietary spice blend. It contains no added sugar — the slight natural sweetness comes from the carrots. Also available in Garlic and Hot varieties in the same 48 oz Costco format.
