Paul Hobbs Chardonnay Russian River Valley is a highly acclaimed California white wine sourced from six pedigreed vineyard sites in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley appellation. The wine presents a pale straw hue and offers wonderful aromatic intensity with candied lemon peel, white florals, and crisp green apple on the nose. On the palate, a creamy, viscous texture is complemented by flavors of white nectarine and dried apricot, balanced by vibrant acidity and a lingering finish with hints of flinty mineral notes.

The 2022 vintage was raised with 30% new French oak, lending elegance and structure while preserving the wine's fresh fruit character. It has earned scores of 94 points from James Suckling, 93 points from Jeb Dunnuck, and 93 points from Wine Spectator. Critics describe flavors of tangerine, mango puree, peach preserves, grilled Meyer lemon, salted pineapple, and honeyed citrus, with a full-bodied, creamy palate and long finish.
