Tequila Ocho Añejo is a single-estate, 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila produced in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. A collaboration between Tomás Estes — the man credited with introducing tequila to Europe — and the renowned Camarena family distillers, Ocho is defined by its commitment to terroir: each batch is distilled from agave harvested on a single estate, with the character of the spirit shaped by that estate's soil, microclimate, and geography.
The Añejo expression is aged for one year in ex-American Oak whiskey barrels, yielding a light amber color and a richly layered profile. The nose opens with black tea, pepper, and wet tobacco. On the palate, complex cooked agave notes give way to dark cacao, coffee, nutmeg, dried fruits, and salted caramel. The finish is long-lasting and peppery with a smooth, buttery mouthfeel.
This 750ML bottle is additive-free and certified as an estate-grown product from Jalisco's renowned Los Altos highlands region.
