Kirkland Signature Allergy Medicine is an antihistamine containing diphenhydramine HCl 25mg, designed for effective allergy relief. This product compares to the active ingredient in Benadryl Allergy Ultratab and comes in easy-to-swallow mini-tab form with 600 tablets per bottle.
This medication temporarily relieves symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies including sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and itching of the nose or throat. It also relieves symptoms from the common cold such as runny nose and sneezing. Each tablet contains 25mg of diphenhydramine HCl as the active ingredient.
Drug Facts: Active ingredient is diphenhydramine HCl 25mg (antihistamine). Uses include temporary relief of symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies, and symptoms from the common cold. Adults and children 12 years and over should take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Children 6 to under 12 years should take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Children under 6 years should consult a doctor. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours for adults and children 12 years and over. Each tablet contains calcium 30mg and includes inactive ingredients such as corn starch, D&C red #27 aluminum lake, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, silicon dioxide, stearic acid, talc, and titanium dioxide.
Warnings include not using with any other product containing diphenhydramine (even one used on skin), not exceeding recommended dosage, and consulting a doctor before use if you have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, or difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland. Stop use and ask a doctor if drowsiness, dizziness, or sleeplessness persists. May cause marked drowsiness. Use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness.
