Maker's Mark 46 is a premium Kentucky straight bourbon whisky and the first new major expression from Maker's Mark since 1958. Created by Bill Samuels Jr., the son of Maker's Mark founders Bill and Margie Samuels, this bourbon begins with fully matured cask strength Maker's Mark, then undergoes a unique finishing process where ten seared French oak staves are fitted into the barrel. The whisky is then aged further in the limestone cellars of Star Hill Distillery, exclusively during winter months when bourbon matures more slowly.

The result is a bolder, richer, and more complex bourbon with layered notes of caramel, vanilla, and baking spices. On the nose, expect hints of toasty French oak, caramel, and baking spices. The taste is mildly sweet with deep, rich notes of vanilla and warm spices. The finish is velvety, subtle, and pleasingly long. Bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV), Maker's Mark 46 is named after "Stave Profile No. 46" from the Independent Stave Company. This bourbon excels neat, on the rocks, or in classic cocktails like Manhattans and Old Fashioneds.
