Zyrtec-D Allergy Relief and Nasal Decongestant combines powerful 24-hour allergy relief with decongestant in extended-release 12-hour tablets. Each tablet contains 5 mg cetirizine HCl antihistamine to block histamines that cause allergy symptoms and 120 mg pseudoephedrine HCl nasal decongestant to relieve sinus pressure and nasal congestion. This dual-action formula provides fast relief from 8 allergy symptoms: nasal congestion, sneezing, itchy eyes, itchy nose, sinus congestion and pressure, runny nose, watery eyes, and itchy throat.
The medication starts working on congestion in as little as 30 minutes and provides relief from symptoms triggered by over 200 allergens including pollen, pet dander, dust, and mold. From the number one doctor and allergist recommended over-the-counter allergy brand, Zyrtec-D is suitable for adults and children 12 years and older. The extended-release tablets should be swallowed whole without breaking or chewing for 12 hours of continuous relief.
Active Ingredients: Cetirizine HCl 5 mg (antihistamine), Pseudoephedrine HCl 120 mg (nasal decongestant). Directions: Adults and children 12 years and over take 1 tablet every 12 hours; do not take more than 2 tablets in 24 hours. Do not use if you have had an allergic reaction to this product or are taking MAOI medications. Consult a doctor before use if you have heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, high blood pressure, enlarged prostate, liver or kidney disease. May cause drowsiness. Avoid alcohol while using. Store between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F). FSA and HSA eligible. No prescription needed in most states, but must be purchased behind the pharmacy counter due to federal regulations on pseudoephedrine products. Keep out of reach of children.
