Long Shadows Feather Cabernet Sauvignon is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State's Columbia Valley appellation, crafted by renowned Napa Valley winemaker Randy Dunn — the only wine he produces outside of California. The wine is a collaboration under Long Shadows Vintners, a Walla Walla-based winery that pairs world-class winemakers with Washington State's exceptional fruit.

Feather draws from three premier vineyard sites that each contribute distinct character to the final blend: Weinbau Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope provides structure and backbone, Dionysus Vineyard in White Bluffs lends lush, dark fruit concentration, and top Horse Heaven Hills vineyards contribute refined, silky tannins. Together they produce an expressive, elegant wine with layers of black cherry, dried currant, crushed blackcurrant, and boysenberry lifted by hints of dried violets. The palate shows cocoa nib, powdered graphite, and roasted espresso notes, finishing with accents of cracked pepper, worn leather, licorice, dark chocolate, and allspice.

Medium-bodied with a polished, sophisticated structure, Feather has earned acclaim across multiple vintages, including Double Gold at the Oregon Wine Awards for the 2021 vintage and a 97-point rating from leading wine critics.
