Padrino Foods Homestyle Pork Tamales are authentic, hand-rolled tamales in fresh corn husks made by a third-generation Mexican food family based in Irving, Texas. Each 60 oz package contains 12 tamales divided into three sealed boil-in-bags with four tamales each. The tamales feature wonderfully seasoned pork with a moist masa that soaks up the grease and flavors, offering a comforting and slightly decadent taste with a nice ratio of meat to masa. The tamales are fully cooked and can be prepared on the stovetop by placing the unopened bag in boiling water for 10-15 minutes if thawed or 15-20 minutes if frozen, or in the microwave by poking holes in the bag and heating on high for 3-5 minutes. The flavor is described as very flavorful but not spicy or hot.
