The wine is aged 20 months in French oak barrels (66% new) from top coopers including Sylvain, Remond, Baron, and Taransaud. It has received critical acclaim with 92 points from James Suckling, 92 points from Decanter, and 94 points from Lisa Perrotti-Brown. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are sourced from multiple sub-appellations including R/D, Twisted Oak, GnR, Calistoga, and Coombsville, resulting in a complex and layered wine at 15.2% ABV.
