Nielson Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County is a tribute to Uriel J. Nielson, the viticulture pioneer who planted the first commercial vineyard in Santa Barbara County in 1964—a region many believed was too cold for wine production. Produced by Byron Winery, this wine comes from Certified Sustainable (CCSW) vineyards in California's Central Coast.

This dry, medium-to-full-bodied Pinot Noir offers aromas of red fruit, tea leaf, and caramel, with flavors of ripe red fruit, earth, and meaty, spicy accents on a generous, luxurious texture. It has earned 92 points from The Tasting Panel. Alcohol content is 13.8% ABV, sealed with a screw cap. The wine is vegan friendly and pairs well with BBQ pulled pork, pizza, and mushroom burgers.
