Vega Sicilia Unico is the flagship wine from the legendary Bodegas Vega Sicilia estate in the Ribera del Duero appellation of Castilla y León, Spain. Crafted from a blend of approximately 94% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is produced only in exceptional vintages from old vines grown on plots situated at the transition between highland slopes and the alluvial plain. The shallow soils are composed of fine colluvial deposits with small limestone fragments over a deeper base of quartz gravel and angular limestone boulders in sandy soil, contributing to the wine's remarkable minerality and structure.

Fermentation is carried out using native yeasts in wooden tanks, with malolactic fermentation also performed in wood.
