Paul Hobbs CrossBarn Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

CrossBarn by Paul Hobbs is a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir crafted from carefully selected cool-climate vineyards along the Sonoma Coast appellation. The wine is sold in cases of 12 bottles, each 750ml.

An alluring deep ruby at the rim gives way to dark garnet at the center of the glass. The nose opens with ripe pomegranate, marionberry, and warm allspice, followed on the palate by bright red cherry and wild berry that lead to nuanced notes of damp earth and forest floor. A refreshing ribbon of acidity animates the wine's expansive mid-palate, while polished tannins provide a well-structured framework and a long, elegant finish.

The wine is hand-harvested at night, made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, and aged 10 months in French oak barrels using native yeast fermentation. A small percentage of whole clusters contributes aromatic complexity. The wine is bottled unfined. Recent vintages have earned scores of 91–92 points from Wine Advocate and Vinous.
