Txomin Etxaniz Getariako Txakolina is a crisp, refreshing white Txakoli wine from Getaria in the Basque Country of Spain, produced by the historic Etxaniz family whose viticultural roots date back to 1649. Made primarily from the native Hondarrabi Zuri grape with a touch of Hondarrabi Beltza, the grapes are hand-harvested and cold-fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine's vibrant, natural freshness.

The wine displays a pale straw-yellow color with the characteristic light natural effervescence typical of Txakoli wines. It delivers aromas of chalk, honey, dusty lemons, seashells, and pollen, with flavors of red apple, tangerine zest, honeydew melon, and green stone fruit. The palate features piercing acidity balanced by a subtle touch of sweetness, finishing with a citrusy, zesty character and a pleasing saline tang. Best served well-chilled and enjoyed young.

Awarded 90 points by both James Suckling and Wine Spectator, and named one of Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2024, this is an outstanding value from the Getariako Txakolina DO.
