Ancient Peaks Zinfandel is a bold red wine sourced from the Santa Margarita Ranch in Paso Robles, California โ one of the largest certified sustainable ranches on the Central Coast. The wine is produced by Ancient Peaks Winery, which draws its grapes from vineyards planted on ancient marine terrace soils at elevations that deliver wide diurnal temperature swings, ideal for developing complexity and depth in Zinfandel.
This Zinfandel is known for rich, jammy fruit flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and plum, complemented by notes of black pepper, spice, and a hint of vanilla from oak aging. It has a full body with smooth, approachable tannins and a long, warm finish characteristic of Paso Robles Zinfandel. The wine pairs well with grilled meats, barbecue, hearty pasta dishes, and aged cheeses.
