The wine delivers aromas of ripe blackberries, raspberries, cracked pepper, and wild sage. On the palate, flavors of dark cherries, boysenberry, star anise, and Mediterranean herbs are complemented by hints of crushed violets and cocoa. Fine-grained tannins provide structure, with a lingering mineral finish reflecting the limestone-rich soils of Paso Robles' westside vineyards. The wine carries approximately 14.5% ABV.
