Alamos Malbec is a vibrant Argentinian red wine crafted by the Catena family, pioneers of quality winemaking in Mendoza for over 100 years. Sourced from grapes grown on the lower Eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains, this 750 mL bottle showcases the character of 100% Malbec. All vineyards are hand-harvested, and grapes are hand sorted at the winery before assembly into the final wine.

The wine opens with bright black cherry aromas accompanied by light floral notes and a touch of toast, with additional layers of dark ripe fruit, vanilla, licorice, cedar, and pepper on the nose. On the palate, the mouthfeel is full and rich, delivering ripe, concentrated cassis and black raspberry fruit flavors interwoven with hints of chocolate and sweet spice from light oak aging. The finish is long and velvety, with lingering fruit and a pleasant dry spice note.

At 13.8% alcohol by volume, this medium-bodied Malbec pairs excellently with chicken, lamb, grilled vegetables, and pasta dishes.
