Sette Ponti Oreno is a prestigious Super Tuscan red wine from Tenuta Sette Ponti in central Tuscany, Italy. This acclaimed blend combines 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Petit Verdot, crafted from vines averaging 20-30 years old grown at 250 meters elevation. First created in 1999 by Dr. Antonio Moretti Cuseri, the wine takes its name from a stream that crosses the estate where the Merlot vines thrive in clay-rich soils.

The wine undergoes fermentation and skin maceration at controlled temperatures for approximately 25 days with frequent pumpovers, followed by 18 months of aging in French oak barriques and an additional 12 months in bottle. It presents a dark ruby red color with bright purple highlights, offering complex aromas of ripe red berries, chocolate, and balsamic notes. The palate is opulent and structured yet dynamic, with excellent persistence. This wine has earned exceptional ratings including 97 points from James Suckling and Tre Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso.
