Albert Bichot Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a classic red Burgundy wine from the Bourgogne AOC appellation, crafted entirely from the Pinot Noir grape in the heart of France's most celebrated wine region. Produced by Albert Bichot, a family-owned estate based in Beaune since 1831 and now in its sixth generation of winemaking, this wine reflects centuries of Burgundian tradition alongside a modern commitment to sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar.
On the nose, the wine offers enticing aromas of fresh red berries — raspberry, wild strawberry, and cherry — with subtle floral and earthy forest floor notes. On the palate it is fresh, supple, and fruity, with silky tannins and a well-balanced, lingering finish with a hint of spice and minerality characteristic of Burgundy's terroir. At 13% ABV and presented in a standard 750ml bottle, it is vibrant yet refined.
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, duck confit, charcuterie and cured meats, mushroom dishes, and mild to medium cheeses. Serve slightly cool at 16–18°C (61–64°F) to best express its bright fruit character.
