The Dalmore 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled at the historic Dalmore Distillery, situated along the banks of the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands. Founded in 1839, the distillery uses plump, golden barley sourced from the rich coastal soils of the Black Isle, mashed and fermented with water drawn from the Cromarty Firth. That water travels from Loch Morie through peat bogs and limestone quarries, contributing a subtly mineral and chewy mouthfeel to the finished spirit.

This expression undergoes an 18-year dual maturation process: 14 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, followed by a 4-year finish in rare 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks. The whisky is distilled through Dalmore's signature flat-top copper-pot wash stills and cold-water-jacketed spirit stills, which restrict lighter elements and produce a notably opulent, rich character. The Dalmore 18 earned a Gold Medal at the 2019 International Wine & Spirits Competition.

On the nose, expect aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, orange, cinnamon, and lush red fruits — raspberries, plums, and cherries. The palate delivers milk chocolate, candied citrus, rich coffee, nutmeg, and soft liquorice, leading to a long, spiced finish of caramel, pear, molasses, and citrus. Bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof). Each bottle bears the iconic 12-point stag, drawn from the coat of arms of Clan MacKenzie, whose century-long stewardship shaped the distillery's identity.
