The wine opens with enticing aromas of dried cherry, blackberry, violet, pancetta, maple, and sage. On the palate, it delivers round tannins with abundant flavors of plum jam, cola, coffee nip, and a hint of leather. The finish is long and decadent with elegant complexity.

The winemaking process includes a 3-day cold soak after destemming, followed by primary fermentation with daily pump-overs. After draining and pressing, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and ages for 18 months, allowing perfect balance of fruit, tannin, and oak.
