10" Eugenia Topiary - Winter Protect Under 40 Degrees

This 10-inch Eugenia topiary is a beautiful low-maintenance evergreen shrub that has been carefully sheared into an elegant topiary form, typically featuring three decorative balls. The Eugenia myrtifolia is perfect for enhancing patios, porches, and indoor spaces with its lush, colorful foliage.

This topiary thrives in bright indirect light indoors (4-6 hours daily near south or east-facing windows) or partial sun outdoors, though it should be protected from intense midday sun to prevent scorching. The plant prefers warm temperatures between 60-85°F and must be protected when temperatures drop below 40-45°F, as it is not frost-tolerant and prolonged freezing will cause damage.

Water consistently to keep the soil slightly moist but never saturated, checking the top half-inch of soil before watering. During spring, summer, and fall, the plant typically requires daily watering, while winter months need a minimum of 3-4 times per week. The topiary grows best in well-drained acidic soil (pH 5.5-6.5) and will wilt dramatically if allowed to dry out completely.
