Mason Cellars Yountville Sauvignon Blanc is a single-vineyard white wine sourced exclusively from the historic Yount Mill Vineyard in the Yountville AVA of Napa Valley. This 750ml bottle represents one of California's most celebrated Sauvignon Blanc expressions, crafted by pioneering winemaker Randy Mason, who has been producing classically styled Napa Valley wines since founding Mason Cellars in Oakville in 1993.

The Yount Mill Vineyard is owned and farmed by the 4th and 5th generation Hoxsey family and was originally planted in the early 1970s using budwood sourced from Robert Mondavi, originally from France. Organically farmed since 1987, the vineyard benefits from Yount Mill Hill to the west, which shields the vines from afternoon heat. A split trellis system, with leaves pulled on the morning side and retained on the afternoon side, encourages a mix of green and gold fruit that enhances the wine's diverse flavor profile.

The wine opens with aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, and honeysuckle, followed by a bright, refreshing palate with notes of Key lime, mango, and a touch of candied ginger. The finish is long, smooth, and mineral-driven. Randy Mason's minimalist winemaking philosophy allows the distinct terroir of the Yountville AVA to express itself fully, resulting in an elegant, balanced wine ideal for any occasion.
